Class Information:
Classes are all 30
minutes long. Skater's progress is encouraged by instructions, games, skill sets, and FUN, FUN, FUN. Charts and
patches further encourage their interest.
Learn to Skate and beginners are awarded a skating patch for attending at least 5 of the 6 weeks in a session.
Merit patches are awarded upon completion of different levels of skills.
Saturday classes (all ages) are 6 week sessions - includes 1/2 hr class, skate rental, and Saturday public skating
session.
Each session is $40.00. Reduced prices for multiple family members $35.00 for 2nd and $30.00 for 3rd and more immediate
family members.
Sign-up the 3rd week or later of a session and the cost is $8.50 per week.
Students can register during the 1st or 2nd week of class sessions. Please arrive 1/2 hr ahead of class time to
register. (Pre-Registration available).
Private lessons during public skate are 15 minutes each - during 12:00-2:00pm and can be booked that day with any
teacher available, for $6.00 per lesson.
Private lessons during non-public skating are also available.

Learn to Skate
Learn the correct,
safe way - balance, body position, basic stroking and safe skating. Classes all geared for 1st time skaters (all
ages).
Beginner
For those that can
already skate but need to improve balance, starting/stopping, skating on 1 foot. Instructions, games, and fun.
Intermediate
Skating edges, crossing
skates, turning, skating backwards, basic footwork and control.
Advanced
Introduction to speed,
jumps, spins, advanced footwork and backward skating.
All Saturday classes are available for both adults and children.
